Lyceum International School was founded by Dr. Mohan Lal Grero in 1993 to provide English medium education from Pre-school to grade 12. This institution consisted of only seven students along with four teachers when it started but now has grown to become the largest network of international schools in Sri Lanka with over 23, 000 students in total and growing.
Lyceum Academy, being a part of the Lyceum network was started in the year 2022 and consisted of just one student but now, has acquired more than 2000 students up to date.
The Lyceum Academy (Private) Limited was the novel addition to the Lyceums educations. The company was established in 2022 to provide coaching classes, professional courses and short courses. We cater to both Lyceum International students and external school students for these classes and courses offered by the academy. We conduct classes at LIS branch schools after school and on a weekend basis.
At Lyceum Academy we offer subject coaching classes, short courses and professional courses for students from age 5 and above. Lyceum Academy provides classes and courses in an island-wide manner by establishing several branches. The branches we are actively offering our classes and programs are as follows,
